Glickenhaus Reveals the Full Line Up

As Glickenhaus reveals the full line up, this has publicised that Frank Mailleux, Pipo Derani and Olivier Pla have also been announced as drivers for the team’s newest campaign, alongside a pair of Glickenhaus-Pipo LMH007s running in tandem with many Le Mans winners.

They are now confirmed to join Ryan Briscoe and Gustavo Menezes who were also confirmed as part of the line-up of the latest World Endurance Championship entry. Glickenhaus has also specified their plans to compete in the new first round of the 2021 World Endurance Championship schedule for the Algarve circuit in Portugal. This news was well received as they had previously planned to miss the original series opener that was due to take place on Sebring.

As Glickenhaus reveals the full line up for the season ahead, they are yet to confirm the driver combination that will be in place across the two cars. We can expect to see a 007 getting a roll out in the near future, however we don’t know whether one of the seven will act as a reserve or not.

Dumas (who is well known for being a Porsche factory driver) also appeared on the list where Glickenhaus revealed their full line up. Dumas had previously contested with Rebellion privateer squad at the 2020 Le Mans. Although he was dropped from the Porsche LMP1 line up after winning the World Endurance Championship in 2016; he has remained enthusiastic in prototype machinery.

Derani also brings experience as he won the Sebring 12 hours at Le Mans on three separate occasions in LMP2 and Daytona Prototype international machinery. His World Endurance Championship experience is within the top class, as this came with a one-off Rebellion R-13-Gibson at the opening of the 2019/2020 World Endurance Championship at Silverstone. Olivier Pla is returning to the World Endurance Championship after a year’s absence where he will also race full time in IMSA with Meyer Shank Acura team. Prior to this he would have been a member of Ford’s GTE Pro line up in the World Endurance Championship in 2018 – 2019.

Formerly a LMP2 regular, Mailleux has been consistent in the Glickenhaus marques Nurburgring 24 Hours campaigns back since 2017 where he scored a hat-trick over the past three seasons he had contended in. As Glickenhaus reveals the full line up not only does this create a great buzz, but it gives the spectators an exciting flavour of what to expect in the coming months ahead.
