Century Confirms Drivers for the Money British GT4 Championship

Exciting news this week as we learned that Century has confirmed drivers for the Money British GT4 Championship this year.

Century Motorsport confirmed two driver crews, the first being Ginetta GT4 Supercup title rivals Gus Burton and Will Burns who are set to join forces for the Silver Cup entry. The second confirmed duo is confirmed with Chris Salkeld who is a new co-driver of Century, teamed up alongside the 2020 Silverstone 500 winner Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke. As Century confirms drivers for the Money British GT4 Championship it has already been circulating how they have formed quite the interesting crews to compete. Burton will be bringing his experience of working with Century throughout his championship journey where he previously finished in second place overall in the Pro class. Burns had previously competed British GT with HHC back in 2018 and is now making a return as the leading Ginetta GT4 Supercup Champion.

Gordon-Colebrooke recently achieved his first British GT victory at the season finale last year and is now set to team up with Salkeld who was runner up in the 2020 Ginetta Supercup Pro-Am standings. This particular entry has also bagged a sponsorship deal with the well-known celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott.  While Century confirms drivers for the Money British GT4 Championship the crew members have also expressed their views on this announcement. Will Burns has voiced his excitement to be joining Century Motorsport this season as he feels there is some unfinished business in the series after his latest session in 2018. He is keen to have another opportunity in such a significant series.

Gordon-Colebrooke has also recently shown a great deal of gratitude and is honoured for the opportunity to team up with Chris for what is set to be an amazing season. Chris is also equally thrilled to be partnering up with Andrew this season as he feels that a great dynamic has already been formed between the two drivers.

Century Motorsport also recently shared the latest images of their latest BMW M4 GT4’s that are expected to race in Evo spec this year. Spectators can also now attend the open round of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship at Brands Hatch this season so this announcement has kicked off a great sense of excitement for the months ahead.
